1. Birthday Parties: If you would like to celebrate your child's birthday at school, please contact me ahead of time (at least a week) so that we could make arrangements. Normally, I allow parents to bring in treats for the class at 2:15. Parents should arrive earlier to set up the treats on the outdoor tables by the cafeteria. I will walk the class to this area at 2:15. The class will sing to your child and then celebrate until the end of the day at 2:23 pm.
Multiplication Memorization Quest
The quest to memorize multiplication facts is still ongoing! Your child must memorize the multiplication facts up to the 10s in third grade, and up to 12s if he/she is up for the challenge. Please remember that students will be taking timed multiplication tests, which will then be used to "build" their ice cream sundae.
